Stay for the food.
Guests were spoiled for choice with an extensive pub menu that included everything from classic pub fare, to the famous savoury pies with a secret recipe crust. Guests would return for the uniquely prepared mouthwatering chips, and overall, food was considered to be of excellent quality. A beer drinker's heaven also awaits at The Five Bells, and keen ale enthusiasts could even ask to see the home brewery in the back.

While a few guests wished that rooms were larger, the majority of visitors had positive things to say about accommodation. Beds were described as extremely comfortable, and the rain shower was a special treat. High quality towels and bucolic countryside views rounded out the experience.

A laid back vibe could be felt throughout the property, and guests loved the ambiance of the classic country pub complete with log fire, exposed beams, and a cheerful atmosphere. When the weather was warmer, guests enjoyed lingering in the garden, with a swing set for the kids, and plenty of picnic tables to enjoy a sunny day.
