Wet'n'Wild (North Shields, United Kingdom)

Wet’n’Wild in North Shields was one of the first and remains the largest water park to be built in the UK. It is situated opposite the Royal Quays Shopping Village close to the Ferry Terminal. It consists of three floors of flume rides and plunges (with names such as Pinball and Mistral) that have computerised sound and lighting effects and which become progressively faster on the upper levels. Other facilities include the lazy river ride, jacuzzis and wave pool. There is a restaurant and an amusement arcade on site.
