    St Anne’s Cathedral is a Roman Catholic Cathedral and the seat of the Bishop of Leeds. The current Cathedral dates from 1904 and is a Grade 2 listed building. The focal point of this Cathedral is the sanctuary, which features a free-standing high altar that is constructed from Italian marble. The altarpiece in the Lady Chapel was originally installed in the old Cathedral that stood on the same site and dates from 1842. The Cathedral is free to visit and is open daily from 7.15am until 6.15pm
