Model Village (Bourton on the Water, United Kingdom)

The Model Village in Bourton on the Water is a one-ninth scale replica of the village which has been constructed out of the local Cotswold stone. There are also miniature trees and flowers. The Village was opened in 1937 on the day of the King George VI’s coronation and since then it has been updated to continue to reflect the local town. The Model Village is next door to the New Old Inn, shares its car park and is managed by the hotel owners. The Model Village is open every day except Christmas Day from 9 am to 6 pm during summer and from 10 am to 4 pm in winter. The admission prices are: Adults: £2.75 Children: £2.00 Concessions: £2.50
