Lugner City (Vienna, Austria)
Lugner City is a shopping and entertainment complex that can be found int the 15th district of Vienna. It was named after its owner, Austrian entrepreneur Richard Lugner, and opened its doors for the first time in 1990. The mall contains a broad range of specialty shops and boutiques, from delis, designer shops and tobacconists to shoe shops and HiFI and Electronic shops and many more, which should cover about all your needs. The newest addition to the shopping mall is the so-called Mausimarkt, a Moroccan styled market with several shops that can be found on the top floor of building three in the mall. Although the shops here might not feature Moroccan goods all the tiles that have been used to decorate the market have been made by Moroccan tradesmen. Apart from shops the Lugner City offers a variety of services such as banks, restaurants, cafes and bars, hairdresser, fitness center and even its own radio stadion. Part of the entertainment complex of the mall is the Lugner Kino-City which is connected to the mall with a bridge. The Kino-City is a 11-screen multiplex cinema and has been added to the Lugner City in 2007. The Kino-City can also be accessed from the street or directly from the nearest train-station.
