Treasure Island Ocean Club has a nice pool area and a very attractive Tiki bar, with great drinks and friendly bartenders. Guests loved spending time by the water, sometimes even forgoing the beach because the atmosphere was so welcoming. As a bonus, the bar features live music on select nights so make sure to inquire about it when you check in.
The rooms at Treasure Island Ocean Club are basic but have all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Guests say the rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are comfortable. The staff is also very friendly, professional and accommodating.
Treasure Island Ocean Club is located in a very safe and walkable area. You can easily reach local attractions, including the Boardwalk, on foot, or by taking a short drive. There are many restaurants, bars and shops nearby, and of course, the beach is just across the street.
While most guests were pleased with their accommodations, adding that the décor has that old Florida charm, some thought their rooms needed renovations because it looks outdated, and various aspects like the mattresses need to be replaced. The air conditioning also needs an upgrade as some units don't cool the rooms well enough, and are also quite noisy.
Several guests were a bit disappointed that some of the rooms were very basic and didn't even have a desk or table, any chairs, a phone, or a clock.
