About Villa Bugis Bali
Villa Bugis Bali is a collection of private one to six-room villas, spread over four different locations around the resort of Seminyak in Bali.
Each spacious villa is individually decorated in a traditional Balinese style, yet well-equipped with mod cons such as free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. Each comes with flat-screen TVs with cable channels and fully-equipped kitchens with microwaves, refrigerators and tea and coffee making facilities.
Guests can take a dip in a private pool or stretch out on a large sun-terrace within the tropical gardens that surround their villa. Villa Bugis Bali offers 24-hour security and free transfers from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
The famous Eat Street, packed with restaurants, is a short walk away. A personal chef can also come and cook meals in the villas.
The beach is just a ten-minute walk away and other sites such as Tanah Lot Temple and Canggu Beach are within a 40-minute drive.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Quiet location yet near the action
Who says you can't have it all? If you want to be close to the action, without having to put up with the noise that comes with it, you'll be in paradise here. Although just a few minutes walk to the buzzing Eat Street and a ten-minute walk to the beach, guests just love being able to retreat back to their quiet villas for some peace.
positive:
Lovely staff
Guests find the staff to be absolutely adorable. They are so kind and friendly and will do all they can to keep you happy - even coming to your villa to cook your breakfast!
positive:
Idyllic setting
Guests love the well-maintained grounds and tropical gardens. The main attraction, however, is of course the private swimming pool. After a day out, there's nothing more refreshing than a dip in your own decent sized pool.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Staff are a bit too eager
There is a fine line between being helpful and being overbearing. It is a line that guests feel the staff frequently cross. If you don't lock your door, you'll find them entering your apartment at will, completely unannounced. They don't even bother to ring on your doorbell!
negative:
Accommodation is getting old
Some guests, especially returning ones, think the buildings and equipment are looking more and more tired. There appears to be little regular maintenance or upgrades to keep the place feeling cared for and up to date. Some feel, as a result, that they are paying over the odds for what they get.
negative:
Dodgy lane
Although access to the town is quite close, many guests don't feel very secure. This is because they have to go down a narrow, terribly maintained and poorly lit lane flanked by packs of aggressive barking dogs.
