Hotel Villa Coco (Seminyak, Indonesia)

Guests find the complex to be a veritable oasis of calm amid the noise and hustle and bustle of Seminyak. Although you might imagine to benefit from such tranquillity you'd have to be in a secluded area away from everything, you would be mistaken. Double Six Beach is just minutes away and the main strip full of shops is close by. Guests love being able to pop out to the restaurant or cafes nearby and then return back to the calm of the resort, with the sound of traffic notably and completely absent.

The staff and especially the onsite manager are well-loved by the guests. They are extremely helpful and attentive - doing all they can to ensure your stay is wonderful. Nothing is a problem and everything seems possible.

Guests like the luxurious feel of the complex and the quality of the facilities - especially the pools. Those lucky enough to have their own private pool certainly don't seem to regret their decision!

The resort seems to be overrun with mosquitos at certain times. Although it is not exclusive to the establishment, it can make it very disagreeable to stay out and relax outside.

Whatever their eventual opinions on the accommodation, the first impressions of many guests are poor due to the unattractive exterior of the complex. They feel the buildings look dated and tired and the neighbourhood a bit sketchy. Having to go down dark and narrow back alleys, full of packs of strange dogs and other wildlife, to get anywhere can be off-putting.

Guests often have problems with the Wi-Fi which can be slow and difficult to access.
