Hotel San Michele (San Gimignano, Italy)

San Michele Hotel is located in San Gimignano. Rooms are all furnished in Tuscan style and they are distributed on two levels. Many of them overlook the wonderful Tuscan vineyards and olive groves and the view runs free on the Chianti hills as far as the mountains of Appennino. Others are situated in the inside courtyard of the hotel, but all rooms are peaceful and far away from the traffic noises. The 14 rooms are furnished with private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, independent heating, satellite TV, direct telephone, and air conditioning. Two bedrooms without architectural obstacles for the disabled are also available. In the morning, in the hot summer months it is pleasant to enjoy the buffet breakfast under the pergola, where in the evening you can have a rest after excursions and chat with the other guests with a glass of Vernaccia di San Gimignano or a very good Chianti wine. From May until late autumn, the swimming pool is open and you can enjoy the view of the green cultivated fields and the towers of San Gimignano. Close to the swimming pool there is the garden equipped with tables for a romantic picnic or where you can read a book or simply enjoy the golden hot colours of the sunset.
