Positive Reviews
positive:
Location couldn't be better.
Removed from the traffic-congested streets of Fort Myers and the strip mall-lined roads common in the city, this hotel served as a great base for exploring the area. A ten-minute drive from the beach, guests were pleased with the proximity to shopping, dining and a number of local attractions. A little farther out, family fun can be had at Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium or the Imaginarium Science Center, both about thirty minutes away.
positive:
Staff really shine.
Hotel staff that really care isn't something you find everyday, and this didn't go unnoticed with hotel guests. Any issues were resolved quickly by polite staff with a "can-do" attitude. Guests were genuinely treated as valued customers. With service like that, many guests couldn't find a reason not to return.
positive:
Spot-on breakfast.
While free continental breakfast can be hit and miss, the breakfast at the Residence Inn Fort Myers Sanibel was a definite hit. A nice buffet selection of hot and cold items that were regularly replenished kept guests coming back for more.
