Situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Spanish Steps, Le Suite al Corso is a small guest house offering renovated and thoroughly modern boutique style accommodation in the heart of the Eternal City. The five rooms have all been well furnished and decorated in calming and elegant pastel tones. Each features the amenities you’ll need for a great city break, including flat screen TV and modern en-suite bathroom. This is a small five-room guest house, and there are few public amenities. Wi-Fi is free of charge and available throughout the property, including the rooms. There is a daily maid service. A very simple breakfast is served onsite every morning, while the area has a number of great dining options for the other meals Le Suite al Corso is just minutes from the Spanish Steps, and of course the same distance from Rome’s luxury boutique avenue, the Via dei Condotti. The gardens at the Villa Borghese are also just minutes’ way on foot.
This was far and away what guests found most impressive about the guests house. It is described as being in a prefect central spot, with guests saying it was easy to get to many of Rome's great attractions, especially the Spanish Steps and the extensive shopping to be found in that area.
A few guests really seemed to like the lift in the building the guest house is located, saying it was an antique and, even though very small, was full of character and style.
Pretty much all the guests bringing up the question of value for money believed they had received excellent value, saying that the room rate was very reasonable for a decent room in such a fantastic location.
It was very hard to find a kind word written about the breakfast served at the guest house. Too many guests to mention reported that it was not only a meagre affair, but that the food was pre-packaged, rather bland and did not do the great baking nation of Italy proud.
Like many small Italian city guest houses, this one is, essentially, a large apartment that has been repurposed. As a result, it certainly is not in its own building, and does not really have any proper signage out front. Several guests reported having difficulty finding it initially. One must make sure that the exact address is known, because there are no other indications where the guest house is from the outside.
A number of guests found their room to be a bit smaller than they would have liked, saying that there really wasn't much room left after two people and their luggage entered.
