Positive Reviews
positive:
Unbeatable location for the Vatican
This was by far what most impressed guests about the property. Going by the reviews, it seems that many guests had come to Rome mainly to visit the Vatican. To this end, they found the location perfect, since it was within easy walking distance of both the Vatican Museums and St Peter’s.
positive:
Clean and well-kept property
On the whole, guests were very happy with the state of their rooms and the public areas. They felt that they had been well cleaned before they arrived and were kept in decent shape during the course of their visit.
positive:
Availability of the kitchenette
The rooms have access to a kitchenette, which guests found very handy when they were looking for a light meal or snack and just wanted to prepare something quickly in the comfort of their accommodation.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Very poor breakfast
Guests were clearly not very happy with the breakfast offered. While it seemed to be a fairly traditional Italian breakfast, guests do not feel that this was sufficient, and also felt the price charged for it was excessive. The feeling seemed to be that it would be best to take your breakfast at a café instead.
negative:
Lack of English language skills
Quite a number of guests mentioned that the hosts really do not communicate very effectively in English. Some felt that it was difficult to both understand and be understood. This problem seemed to be especially acute for those whose mother tongue was not English.
negative:
Confusion on arrival
Since this is a very small establishment, there are no permanent staff on hand at the location. Quite a few guests didn’t know what to do on arrival and didn’t know where to go to check in. It was a confusing and inauspicious start to their stay.
