The in-room coffee machines are a huge hit with caffeine lovers. State-of-the-art Starbucks systems make world-class coffee, and with regular and decaf options available, as well as many types to try, they’re a most welcome addition. Guests who run out of pods find staff happy to provide refills.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Slightly Outdated
While the traditional accommodations are much-loved, for some travelers, they could be more contemporary. No USB ports and a shortage of power points by the bed annoy some, while TVs with bad receptions perplex others. Outmoded décor and tired fittings in some public areas could do with attention.
negative:
Annoying Air-Con
One of very few consistent criticisms comes from under-slept guests annoyed at the loud air-con units. Rooms are fitted with blinds (not curtains), so at the end of a sunny day are uncomfortably warm, leaving guests to decide whether to be cool or kept awake by noise.
negative:
Earplugs Essential
Occasionally, guests complain of being kept awake by street noise from traffic, sirens and revelers. Reviewers moan about ventilation units, which are very loud in some rooms, while others are just unfortunate and end up with inconsiderately noisy neighbors. Light-sleepers should earplugs, just in case.
