Idyllic rural setting.
There are no noisy pubs and bars in the vicinity of the hotel which allowed guests to enjoy peaceful and quiet evenings. Many thoroughly enjoyed the scenic views of the gardens from their rooms as well as being able to go for long walks across the 16 acres of private grounds surrounding the hotel.

Those who popped in for afternoon tea as well as guests who dined at the restaurant said that the quality of food was of a very high standard. The dishes were describes as being full of flavour and made from fresh local ingredients. The service was said to be attentive which added to the enjoyment of dining experience.

Guests said that they were greeted with a smile upon arrival and were made to feel welcome for the duration of their stay. Reception staff offered helpful tips and advice with regards to the local area whilst the waiting staff were said to be attentive and courteous.
