There were many reports from guests about how the staff members were warm and friendly from the moment they arrived, and always eager to share knowledge about the area. Many guests felt that the level of service received here with one of the best things about their overall stays.

Guests generally were very satisfied regarding the rates they paid and the amenities they were able to enjoy while staying here. There were numerous comments about how the rooms offered more amenities than expected, so they felt they were getting a very good value.

The location was another highlight for many of the guests who chose to stay here. They reported that the hotel was within walking distance to many of the things they wanted to see, and also liked how there was a restaurant across the street that offered reasonably priced food.

It may be a little difficult to find the hotel when you arrive. Guests warned that you should not expect a large sign outside, but there is a small nameplate by a doorbell. Although guests felt the lack of signage was confusing, they also admitted a large sign would've taken away from the beauty of the historical building.

Reviews indicated that some of the rooms here could do with a little sprucing up. For example, some guests noticed that their rooms needed to be repainted. Others said the amenities in the rooms looked worn, but clarified they still worked.

Guests staying in the lower level of the hotel were especially prone to being mildly bothered by street noise. However, most said this problem didn't prevent them from sleeping.
