    Cambridge House is a family-run guest house in Windermere and is only a ten-minute walk from local shops and pubs. There are six rooms to choose from ranging from twin, double and family rooms. Each are en-suite and have luxury linens, TV/DVD and free rein of the choice of books on offer. Cambridge House has a dining room as well as a small garden at the front to enjoy. There is on road parking as well as ample parking nearby if full. The owners pride themselves on their use of local produce. Guests can enjoy a leisurely stroll into Windermere for dinner where they can try Tapios, Café Italian, Francine’s, Sugar & Spice Café & Bistro, and Hooked. Windermere has many sights which attract visitors all year round. Guests could try boating on the lake, walking in the hills, visit holehird gardens or Rydal water and caves.

    The hotel is set in the heart of Windermere giving guests the perfect place to stay if visiting the local area. Everything is within walking distance so a car is not necessary once they arrive.
