The hotel provides a complimentary airport shuttle and a shuttle service to the nearby City Place shopping area, both shuttle services rated highly among reviews for their speedy and efficient service.

With room service a little hit and miss at many hotels, the guest reviews for the room service at this DoubleTree were very complimentary. Guests commented that the food was on time and very tasty.

A number of guest reviewers mentioned the generous and helpful staff at the hotel generally in their reviews, with a few singling out the front desk and reception staff as being particularly helpful when untangling reservation mishaps and problems.

Some guests noticed that on check-in that their rooms were not cleaned to the usual standard that they had come to expect of a Doubletree hotel. A common complaint was that the sheets appeared dirty and rumpled as if not changed regularly. Some guests also mentioned that the towels were old and worn.

Some previous guests to the hotel were not at all impressed by the state of the bathrooms which were small and not overly clean. Some guests commented about the build up of mildew and mold in the shower recess, that required attention with some hardcore bleach!

A number of guests had the unfortunate timing to stay at the hotel during a period of renovation, this renovation meant that many of the usual amenities were not available including the restaurant and bar areas. These guests expressed their dissatisfaction with not being made away of the construction prior to their stay.
