Guests who visited the on-site spa said that that they thoroughly enjoyed using the pool which was described as being clean and of decent size. Those who had specialist body treatments spoke highly of their experience stating that the therapists were friendly and professional. If you like the idea of being able to pamper yourself without having to leave the hotel premises then you won't be disappointed.

The hotel is surrounded by extensive private grounds complete with a duck pond and plenty of colourful plants and mature trees. You won't find any noisy pubs or bars in the vicinity so if you are looking for a tranquil country getaway then you'll certainly be in your element.

The members of staff will often go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at ease. Families and pet owners were assisted with specific requests and queries whilst many also complimented the friendly and professional bar staff.

Lack of attention to detail.
Guests mentioned that they found cracks in the basins as well as some of the bathroom tiles whilst others objected to the tatty looking upholstery and mouldy grouting. Other minor issues included unclean windows and broken lights.

Although the rooms were described as comfortable by many who stayed here, some mentioned that the rooms were starting to show their age. Marks on the skirting boards and the walls together with dated looking bathrooms were just some of the things brought up by the guests.
