Positive Reviews
positive:
Views are a real treat.
Being able to watch the sun set behind the distant sea from your hotel room is something that never gets old. However, it's not just sweeping vistas of Morecambe Bay that you can savour from here; there's also some pretty spectacular views of the Lakeland Fells to be had too. Glorious.
positive:
Hotel bistro is well worth a visit.
Stylish surroundings, inventive cocktails and locally sourced food: the Aspect Bar & Bistro has everything you need to enjoy a top-notch dining experience. Top Tip: don't leave without giving the Morecambe Bay Potted Shrimps a whirl!
positive:
Very convenient location.
With the town centre, promenade and train station all within easy strolling distance, exploring Morecambe (and beyond) is a breeze when you're based here.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Parking can be an issue.
The hotel's private on-site car park only has room for 20 vehicles. Needless to say, finding a free space and/or getting in and out can be a bit challenging during busy periods. If you do luck out then you can always park over the road in the public car park for free between 18.00 and 10.00.
negative:
Wi-Fi is a little intermittent.
Whilst some guests seem to manage just fine, others find it almost impossible to maintain a decent Wi-Fi signal. Something to bear in mind if being 'off-grid' isn't an option for you.
negative:
Some guest rooms look a little dated...
...But this will change when the comprehensive refurbishments which are already in progress finally come to a close.
