The rooms above the pub are lovely and very cosy and relaxing. They are well maintained although some areas still needed a little bit of dusting and you'll find that it's very easy to get a great night's sleep here.
The rooms and food at this inn are reasonably priced, and you'll find that you can spend only a fraction of what you would in a chain hotel. It's also great to pay local pub prices for your drinks making the place great value for money.
The menu at this place has changed since the new owners took over and, unfortunately, it's not up to scratch. They only serve breakfast and lunch now, and some guests feel that the food is well below average.
