Bed & Breakfast Follets B&B (Pewsey, United Kingdom)

Guests were in no two minds as to the quality of the second “B” in Follets B&B. The breakfast was described as the perfect start to their day, being varied, plentiful and prepared to perfection.

The hosts at Follets, Margaret and John, were described as just that, perfect. Guests said they could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. The terms “bent over backwards” and “nothing was too much trouble” cropped up repeatedly in guest reviews when it came to describing the hosts.

Though not unusual for a small B&B or guesthouse, many guests really appreciated the tea, cake and especially the chat on arrival at Follets. Aside from being a lifesaver after a long journey, the chat could end up to be quite informative, giving some guests good ideas as to things to do in the area.

Interestingly, according to guests it seems there is no mobile phone coverage at the property, at least for some networks. While some would no doubt consider this to be a benefit, rather than a drawback, given the sometimes tyrannical nature of “always-on” connectivity, others who have a genuine and urgent need for connectivity should take note. There is Wi-Fi at the property, so most Apps should still run just fine.

It seems that the rooms, like many at B&B's, are simply normal rooms, and no additional steps have been taken to improve sound insulation. As a result some guests complain that they can hear everything that goes on in adjoining rooms.

It was mentioned that there were not many channels available on the TV. Guests looking for extended electronic entertainment may need to load their tablet with their favourite shows beforehand.
