Positive Reviews
positive:
Wonderful hosts serving up divine breakfasts
Guests were unashamed to profess their admiration for the hosts of this hotel, explaining that the couple running the place had created a welcoming, intimate atmosphere and were themselves hospitable, professional and helpful in all regards. It seems the free glass of sparkling wine provided on arrival did nothing to harm this impression and the breakfasts cooked up every morning were apparently divine and gave guests a wide selection of delectable treats to choose from.
positive:
Minutes from Queenstown's gondola and centre
A stay at this hotel is said to bring fantastic Queenstown centrality, with guests mentioning that they were just a few minutes away from the base of the gondola and not much further away from shopping and dining downtown. Furthermore, some guests seemingly made the most of being in the region and fitted their stay here around skiing and tramping trips.
positive:
Great comfort, little touches, outside fire & spa
Those who stayed appreciated the little touches they found in their rooms, such as some lovely Molton Brown toiletries and bathrobes, or wonderfully cosy beds and linen. In addition to this, the common areas like the lounge, or the fireplace and mountain-view spa outside were greatly enjoyed by all of those who stayed.
