Travellers say the employees working at the hotel are welcoming and are quite friendly. It was added that the staff does try to help should you need anything during your stay.

Visitors note that the property is situated in a central area that makes getting to Sacramento's sights a quick and painless process. Downtown Sacramento including the Golden 1 Center is a ten-minute drive away while Cal Expo can be reached in eight minutes by car.

The hotel may not be fancy, but guests report that the rooms are equipped with the items you will need for a comfortable stay. Each accommodation has a flat-screen TV with cable channels as well as an en-suite bathroom.

There is a freeway that runs right next to the hotel which means there is a good chance that you will hear the sound of cars passing by. Guests point out that this noise is rather constant and there is no wall or anything between the road and the hotel to help block out the sounds.

The property has been remodelled but visitors say even this does not hide the true age of the hotel. The accommodations in particular looking outdated with the decor being rather unimpressive according to several guests.

Travellers were not impressed with the hotel's deposit policy which requires cash to be put down upon your arrival. While the money will be returned once you leave, it was noted that this is still a bit of a hassle, especially if you were not expecting to have to pay a cash deposit.
