Positive Reviews
positive:
Location is a big plus
With tram, metro, train and bus connections (including the airport shuttle bus service) just across the street and all manner of shops, stores, restaurants and bars ostensibly on the doorstep; it's clear to see this hotel's location is hugely advantageous. Many travellers also appreciated being able to walk to the old city, where most of the city's premier sights are, within half-an-hour.
positive:
Personnel provide exceptional guest services
Attentive, informative and really most kind; it's easy to see why so many visitors have had such good things to say about the hotel's modest army of customer-facing operatives. The fact that they could speak about eight languages between them also impressed.
positive:
Property looks resolutely spotless throughout
The majority of guests who've stayed here have remarked very favourably upon the overall state of cleanliness maintained throughout the hotel's interiors. Indeed, most agreed that the property as a whole was nothing short of immaculate.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Small guest rooms are a bit of a let down
Very few guests liked the fact that, whilst the windows may be large and the ceilings high, many of the guest rooms here are actually pretty small. Standard single and double rooms were deemed the most restrictive.
negative:
Shared facilities aren't ideal
As well as waiting around for the shared bathrooms to be free, many guests complained about there being only one shared shower facility per floor. Those staying on the facility-free ground floor were particularly peeved as they had to go upstairs whenever they wanted to shower.
negative:
Some accommodations have noise issues
Numerous visitors who stayed in the hotel's front-facing rooms reported being disturbed by noise from the busy road below. Some said their sleep was interrupted as early as 5.30am by street cleaners and refuse trucks.
