Together with the serenity of the neighbourhood, guests also appreciated the lovely, almost pastoral, views over the Adige. These could be enjoyed from public areas as well as the rooms facing the river.
While most were aware of this when booking the hotel, the fact is that the hotel is some distance from Verona's centre. While there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, form where buses to the centre can be caught, several guests felt that the location was just a little too remote.
While not mentioned very often, a few guests did say that they found the décor a bit dated. It wasn't a case of function being affected, but rather that the look just didn't suite the current times.
A surprising number of guests mentioned that there was no kettle in their kitchen on arrival. While they typically raised the matter with the staff, who then supplied one, they found it a bit odd that an equipped apartment didn't have one present right from the outset.
