The spa and swimming pools at Hotel Playa Esparanza with modern facilities. Relaxing at the poolside while sunbathing or having a few drinks at the poolside bar provides an incomparable experience.

The buffet breakfasts provided by the hotel are in class of their own. They are not only very well prepared but have a wide variety of dishes to please every palate. Many guests highly recommend the breakfast buffet.

The staff is very warm and friendly. Many staff members can speak English, French, Italian, and Swiss very well. Very helpful to guests and always serving with a smile

Though Hotel Playa Esparanza has gone to great lengths to provide free Wi-Fi in the rooms and public spaces, the Wi-Fi signal in some rooms tends to be rather intermittent and can be weak and unreliable at times.

A few guests have reported that the air-conditioning in the dining area tends to cool the room and the food rather quickly. The air in the dining room can get a bit too cold for comfort.

The hotel provides a free children’s club and supervised kids’ activities. A few guests, however, have felt that the hotel has not done enough on this front and the entertainment provided is a bit sub-par.
