    Great Location.

    Positioned on Newmarket’s High Street, in a cosy courtyard, the Rutland Arms Hotel is in a great location to service guests in town for the horse racing, or just here for a visit.

    The hotel’s staff are both helpful and cheerful, ready to assist guests with any questions or problems they may have regarding the hotel or the town and its area.

    Faulty Facilities.

    While guests enjoyed their stay, they did feel the Rutland Arms needed to work harder to keep facilities well-maintained and updated.

    Similarly, while the hotel sits in a lovely old building, unfortunately the décor seems just as dated according to guests. The rooms are beginning to look tired and worn out.

    Thin Walls.

    Unfortunately some guests found they were kept awake by the noise of their neighbours in other rooms due to thin walls and poor sound and insulation. Many old hotels suffer from this. Fortunately not all guests had this problem.
