Rising within a 15th century hamlet, surrounded by the verdant countryside near the town of Impruneta, homestead of Tuscan terracotta, Relais Villa Olmo is a Food & Wine Resort and a haven of tranquility and beauty. The hamlet, an agricultural estate, was purchased in 1735 by a cadet branch of the noble Medici family and over the centuries grew around the family’s manor house. Still today the grand noble mansion towers high above the Relais’ welcoming contemporary buildings. Committed to guests’ full enjoyment Relais Villa Olmo offers a variety of experiences, each carefully crafted, to enable guests to enjoy the pleasures of authentic Tuscan lifestyle and discover the Chianti hillside and Florence. Inspired by our Food & Wine Resort philosophy our Chianti experiences include wine tours, to lead guests to the discovery of quaint local wineries, horseback riding and bike tours in the hillside, and entertaining lifestyle activities such as our signature Dolce Vita style and gourmet-focused Vespa tours. In our aim to offer our guests an all-round voyage into the marvels of Tuscan taste we organize customized Cooking Classes for groups and individuals.
