Positive Reviews
positive:
Some lovely views on hand
The views out over the lovely blue waters of Corio Bay are nothing short of splendid. Watching the boats bob up and down while sitting out on your balcony (or indeed in the restaurant) in the late evening sunshine is just delightful.

Top-drawer waterfront location
Being a mere stone's throw from the waterfront is arguably this hotel's biggest draw. Without doubt, having the wonderful Bob Mcgovan waterfront path literally just across the road is worth the booking price in itself as it makes walking into the city supremely easy and ever-so enjoyable.
positive:
On-site dining is a treat
Numerous guests have raved about the food (and setting) offered at the hotel's on-site restaurant, Black Salt. Beautifully presented food cooked to perfection in a cool venue with a modern vibe - what's not to like?
Negative Reviews
negative:
Can be a little noisy during peak times
The Esplanade road in front of the hotel can get pretty busy at peak times, both with people and traffic. Unfortunately, those guests staying within accommodations at the front of the hotel often experience the associated noise as a result.
negative:
Outdoor pool is small
Although the outdoor pool is pleasant enough, it's pretty small so there isn't really much scope to do any actual swimming. Okay for a brief cool-down or having a splash-around with the kids but nothing more really.
negative:
Service can be a little hit and miss
Many guests have noted that some of the hotel's customer-facing employees seem somewhat disinterested and - in some cases - a little off-hand at times. Time to re-invest in some customer-service training perhaps..?
