Positive Reviews
positive:
The spa is wonderful.
There’s nothing like adding a spa day to your holiday agenda, especially when you can have that spa treatment and then just head back to your room for a cat nap. With the addition of an indoor heated pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi at your disposal, you can stay relaxed for the duration of your stay.
positive:
The staff is awesome.
There’s nothing that the staff at Penventon Park won’t do for you. From the moment you check in, the dedicated, friendly is there to help you with most any request and they are happy to point you in the direction of the entertainments, eateries, landmarks and beaches that Cornwall has to offer.
positive:
This is a non-smoking hotel.
This is a non-smoking property which is great if you don’t imbibe and like your accommodations smelling fresh rather than like stale, second-hand smoke.
Negative Reviews
negative:
There are no pets allowed.
Other than service animals, Penventon Park does not accept pets. This is unfortunate for those who like to travel with their favourite four-legged friends.
negative:
Some rooms don’t have bathtubs.
Some of the guest rooms here have showers only in their en suite facilities. If you prefer a soak to a shower, be sure to state your preference when booking and again at check-in.
negative:
Things can get noisy.
Creaky floorboards ensure that you can hear your upstairs neighbor’s every move in many of the guest rooms. And if there is a wedding or special event on property, the noise from late night revelry may keep you awake. so if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to book a room on a high floor and well away from the madding crowd.
