Negative Reviews
negative:
Housekeeping issues
Housekeeping seems to be a severe problem here. OK, you're not paying a fortune for your room, but you do expect a minimum of hygiene. You would also anticipate that your beds will be made and room cleaned – at least sometimes! An overwhelming number of guests are highly dissatisfied with the standard of cleaning here. Rooms are just left untouched for days or not properly made up after previous guests. Guests find the floors in particular to be completely filthy and not even mopped.
negative:
Bad smells
The hotel is supposed to be non-smoking. However, you wouldn't know by the amount of guests who complain about the overpowering tobacco and marijuana odors in and around their rooms. There are also frequent complaints of more general and unidentifiable foul or bad smells coming from the rooms.
negative:
No fridges or microwaves
Many guests say they would appreciate to have a mini fridge, microwave or coffee machine in their rooms. Even though this appears to be the case in some rooms, at least recently, it doesn't yet seem to be standard.
