Positive Reviews
positive:
Well located for enjoying Cape May
Guests like the location of this hotel. They say that it is just a short distance from the historic area and downtown, so it is very easy to walk there for shopping and eating out. This will save you money on the cost of parking.
positive:
Facilities up to scratch
Rooms are quite basic but you will find them to be very clean and functional. Guests say that this is a good choice of hotel when you are looking for somewhere which is safe, clean and comfortable at the budget end of the hotel scale.
positive:
Only five minutes from the beach
You will be within walking distance of the beach as it is only around ten minutes away on foot. As such, this hotel is a nice option for those wanting to be near the beach but not wanting to pay beachfront prices.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No reception desk at the hotel
Guests do not check in or out at the hotel but instead at a sister hotel approximately a mile away. This also means that guests do not have any hotel staff available for them on a front desk, which can be a nuisance when problems are encountered.
negative:
Wi-Fi service could be improved
Guests appreciate that free Wi-Fi is included. However, it is said that the password is not automatically provided, and instead guests have to call the sister hotel. Some guests who did get to use the Wi-Fi said that the service was patchy, too.
negative:
Parking can be tricky
There is free parking on-site but it is quite a small area and guests also note that there are no marked bays. As such, you may find it is sometimes tricky to park your car there or that there is no space left.
