The neighbourhood seems secure and safe. You definitely feel comfortable walking around.

You will find a decent sized grocery store about ten-minutes away and the train station is also about ten-minutes away by foot. You can take the train to the first stop and catch the tube for the remainder of your journey. There's a bus that stops directly outside the hotel, which will take you to the train as well. From there, three-stops will have you at Kings Cross.

Breakfast is decent enough. The hotel provides a full English breakfast each morning with eggs, toast, bacon, pork 'n' beans, coffee, cereals, juices and more. They serve it fresh and hot too.

The hotel is more like a bed and breakfast. It's a house converted into a hotel. There's nothing special about the décor or anything; however, it is a budget place, so you get what you pay for. Rooms are also small.

A busy roadway is right where the hotel sits, so you can expect a good amount of traffic noise.

The exterior of the hotel looks somewhat decrepit. There's also a little graffiti to top-off the look. Rooms are clean, but the paintwork needs some retouching. What's more, you will have to place the kettle on the floor in order to use the plug. You are given a key for your room but you still have to ring the doorbell to give your key to a staff member. There is no front door key either, so you need to ring the bell to get back in.
