Limak Arcadia Sport Resort Belek (Belek, Turkey)

Built in 1995 this five star resort was the first of the Limak group of hotels to open. As its name implies it is focused on sports activities with a range of sports on offer on site or close by. Golf is a particular speciality and there are 9 courses between 1km and 9km from the hotel. A shuttle service operates to them all. Football is also well catered for, with 2 grounds at the hotel and a further 11 about 7km away and professional and amateur teams are hosted. For individual guests there is tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball among many others, and fitness facilities including aerobics and dance. Courses and tournaments are organised. The whole complex covers 97,000 sq m but is nevertheless close to the beach and the centre of Belek. Rooms are in the main hotel building and in bungalows. Adjoining standard rooms form family rooms and suites are also available. All have sea views and modern facilities. Seven restaurants provide a variety of cuisines and there is a choice of 8 bars, some with live or disco music. Conference rooms in a variety of configurations are available.
