Positive Reviews
positive:
Impeccably clean
Many visitors have said that they could feel the cleanliness in the air they breathed from the moment they arrived at the Suba Hotel in Dubai. Everything, from the entrance lobby, the hallways and most importantly the rooms was spick and span.
positive:
Overly accommodating staff
If you need assistance with anything, from booking a flight, to extra towels in your room, the staff are super friendly, and always willing to lend a hand where they can. Even the general manager gets personally involved in lending assistance to his guests.
positive:
Super satisfied with Wi-Fi
If you have stayed over in many hotels, you will know that Wi-Fi doesn't always have the best connectivity. Guests absolutely love the Wi-Fi service at this hotel, where it even works while you wait for your taxi on the pavement outside.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Difficult to find
Reports from guests are that taxi drivers have struggled to find the Suba Hotel, as it is still quite new. Nonetheless one taxi driver took it upon himself to phone the hotel and get the directions first hand.
negative:
Second hand cigarette smoke
There have been a few complaints from guests who were allocated non-smoking rooms and got a whole lot of smoke coming through from the adjoining room. When management was alerted, these guests were happily upgraded to another room with no extra charge.
negative:
A little far off the beaten track
There are a few shops and stores within a short walk from the hotel, but if you want to visit the local attractions you have to get a taxi to get around. Guests say the problem with that is that it's a bit awkward to get back and forth to the hotel to change in between.
