Positive Reviews
positive:
A pleasant stay.
Guests thought that their visit got off to a great start after the warm greeting at the hotel reception. Responsive and accommodating staff factored heavily on guests' opinion of Killarney Oaks, and the majority would agree that staff were great at their jobs.
positive:
Great beds.
Many guests commented on the comfortable sleep that they got at this hotel. Bad mattresses can make or break a visit, but thankfully, there weren't any bad mattresses to be found here.
positive:
A+ dining.
Meals were a hit amongst guests who thought that food was well cooked and presented, along with nice portion sizes. Some guests were particularly taken with the breakfast, which was one of the better ones that they had eaten in awhile.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Service sometimes slow.
While hotel staff were typically found to be friendly, they weren't always the fastest bunch. Whether because of a shortage of staff, or because of staff members wanting to take their time, a few guests were left feeling invisible when it came to getting a drink at the bar or patiently waiting on their meal order.
negative:
A little out of the way.
Some guests would have preferred to be located closer to town. Taxis were easy to obtain, but if guests wanted to do anything in the evening, they had to make the trek into Killarney.
negative:
Spotty television.
Guests looking to relax in front of the TV at the end of the evening were sometimes inconvenienced by poor reception. Static was a bit of a downer for a few, but luckily the problem doesn't seem to be widespread.
