Kaunos Hotel (Köyceğiz, Turkey)

Kaunos Hotel is situated on the shore of lake KOYCEGIZ in Mugla Province of southwestern TURKEY and it is very close to the worldwide famaous toursitic destinations. This region is also called as “TURKISH RIVIERA”. Our hotel offers 60 comfortable rooms either facing Koycegiz lake or mountains. Koycegiz is a lakeside small town in turkish riviera with panaromic scenery and terrific landscapes nearby. The climate of the region is mild and sunny lasting all year long. Koycegiz and surrounding areas are worldwide famous with its ancient greek and roman heritage, organic foods, healthy mediterranean cuisine, wonderful landscapes, thermal waters, natural parks like deadsea, forests, mountains, lakes, rivers, islands, turquoise coloured sandy beaches. Dalaman international airport is only 40 min. away. The city of Marmaris is 1 hour away where tourists can get the ferries to greek islands like RHODES, SIMI, KOS…Koycegiz applied for membership of CITTASLOW ( slow food ) movement. There is also waterfront promenade suitable to walk, ride a bike of for jogging. There is no sea traffic and speed or racing boats are forbidden. However, all canoes, paddleboards, rowing boats are allowed.
