Hotel Waterside Holiday Apartments (Dublin, Ireland)

Guests were happy with the location of the complex, which is within walking distance from Dublin city centre. They opined that this is a good starting point to explore the stunning attractions of Dublin, like Merrion Square and O’Connel Street. The bus stops to the city centre and the airport shuttle are both within a five-minute walk from the property. It is also convenient for shopping and dining. Guests and their families felt safe inside the secure gates of the complex.

The self-catering units were found to be adequately equipped. They felt that the apartments are spacious, clean and there is plenty of space for a family of five. They enjoyed the views of the docks from the bedrooms and balconies. Though basic, the kitchen was well-stocked, the TV worked well, and they had no complaints about the Wi-Fi. They were happy with the welcome pack of milk, water and cookies, which they received upon arrival.

Guests found the owners to be very helpful. Requests were attended to. They were given detailed information and instructions about the place.

Guests had some trouble with the parking facilities at the property. Despite making prior payment for parking, some guests complained that they had to park their vehicles on the street nearby. Issues like the garage door remote not working or the parking area being full have been reported.

Guests complained that the bathroom facilities were old and an upgrade was essential. The sinks leaked and the water pressure in the showers was low. The hot and cold water control did not work.

Some guests had a tough time getting their issues sorted out over the phone as staff is not available on location. The keys have to be collected from a petrol station. At times calls or messages regarding problems with the facilities went unattended.
