The Tron Square Residence is a recently renovated apartment in the centre of Edinburgh, 400 metres from Royal Mile and 400 metres from National Museum of Scotland.

Pros: The setup of the apartment with separate rooms, cleanliness, everything was truly perfect. We were one couple + Child and one Adult, so the layout of the apartment was perfect. Private and also a nice communal spot. Loved the "leave a book, take a book" library! Wish I knew, as I would have brought a book with me. They left baby toys out, which was excellent for our baby. Cons: The only thing that you should be aware of, is it's three flights of stairs up with your luggage. We were fine, but some folks that may be a problem. It was also a bit hard to find based on the directions. Key is to have them drop you off on High Street and get to the apartment from above, not below.

Pros: The flat is beautifully furnished, well equipped and well looked after. The beds are comfortable, everything is sparkling clean. The bathroom has everything and more in terms of products - i thought that was a very thoughtful touch. So does the kitchen although we didn’t use. Overall there was a sense of generosity from how the flat is prepared for guest and how responsive, informative and accommodating Lotti & Keith are. I would certainly come again. It’s a gem of a find. Away from noise yet at the heart of city and very close to the train station. Cons: Nothing, all is great in my opinion.

I wish I could live in this flat!

Pros: The residence is very conveniently located at the center but also quiet. The house is clean, though it’s a very old building without lift, the decoration is simple and homely, the facilities are working well. Cons: No lift

Pros: Location, Location, Location! Appreciated the detailed directions on how to get to the place as it can be confusing if you just look at it on a map. Very comfy and spacious. Great communication from the owners. Cons: WiFi was slow and the TV isn't a smart TV by today's standards. Like other places we stay we couldn't log in to our Netflix or other streaming services.

Would stay at this place every time. The location was by far the best part about it.

Pros: Landlord/Manager was accessible whenever we had a request/question. He was very polite and understandable. The location of the apartment was perfect. Cons: No smart TV (no netflix or any other web channel) No esspresso coffee machine Next to the apartment there was a nursery school and in the mornings of working days there was noise from the children playing in the yard.

We would definetely come back at the same apartment. Perfect location. Perfect Manager/landlord.

Pros: Location was absolutely superb and couldn't have been better for us to enjoy the old part of Edinburgh. A short walk from the train station, the national museum and everything on the Royal Mile. It was fantastic! Very comfortable, nicely furnished, everything was spotlessly clean & in good condition. Home away from home. Cons: There was one night it was a bit noisy outside which couldn't have been avoided...

Pros: The location: central and quite; Apt itself: cozy and comfortable Cons: The hot water system for shower, which is unusual; but it is okay after one finds out that it needs to be turned on first through a switch outside of the bathroom at least 1 hr ahead in time.

Pros: everything ok, the manager was very nice and friendly Cons: a little bit of trouble about the key. need to ring the customer service at booking.com. In the first rang he was indian or Pakistani man he wasn't helpful and not good attitude humg up the phone in the midle of conversation. the second rang I got lady she was nice and helpfull. I think it's not happening again in the future waiting for the key around 1 hour outside the apartment in the freezing weather .

Pros: Location is amazing just behind the High Street and very close to the most famous attractions. Quiet spot on a second floor of a recently renewed two bedrooms apartment. Everything is perfect, the atmosphere is very relaxing and the hosts are very professional and always ready to accomplish any request. The underfloor heating system control is a plus. Super highly recommended I will definitely visit again Cons: Nothing, it was all perfect, just a little suggestion, a smart TV might be useful for the people who wants to use their own telephone apps

Pros: It is a very nice and cozy place with a great location Cons: The check out time is very early at 10:00 am and the cleaning person arrived exactly at that time. In any hotel the check-out time is at 11:00 or 12:00, the truth was uncomfortable

Pros: Great location and value. Apartment was clean, spacious for 3 to 4 people, and quite comfortable, Overall a good place to stay for the money. Cons: I wished that the towel dryer/warmer unit in the bathroom was operational, and the mirror on the hall way was hanging flat on the wall rather than protruding (unsafe).

Tron Square was a perfect highlight to my Scottish Experience

Pros: This was truly a gem. From the first step into the appartment we felt at home. It was clean and bright, and contained all the expected items, but on top of that it had a little swap-a-book library, a fine collection of movie dvds, art on the walls, coffee beans in the kitchen, and other details which made it feel like a home away from home. The location right by The Royal Mile was perfect since everything was in walking distance, but it was still tucked away enough for us to have no city-noise. Highly recommendable! Cons: -

Pros: it felt like a home away from home. there was so much character in the apartment (literally the same bed that I have at home) as well as everything you need. The location was the best yet out of the four times I’ve stayed in Edinburgh. I will definitely stay again. Cons: -

comfortable and user-friendly

Pros: Perfect location for old town in the heart of the city - but with none of the noise as it's in a courtyard which is very peaceful. We walked everywhere for the fringe festival. Cons: A bit unique for our situation, but it rained a lot when we were there and there is no tumble dryer to dry the clothes and the airer was not big enough for four people's worth of clothes. Also, one sofa and one arm chair means one person was not in a comfy seat the one evening we sat in the living room!

Pros: Location of the condo is excellent. Close to all. Cons: You should prepare a manual for the guess which will give details of all facilities of the condo (how to use kitchen, washer, etc..). We had to discover by ourselves OR ask the property management. In all these years of renting Airbnb, we always find a manual with all pertinent information for the use of the guess.

Was a family gift

Pros: Location was brilliant-easy access to everywhere. Flat was clean and comfy.Had most of what we needed ,quiet and relaxing. Cons: Had to climb 6 flights of stairs to access flat and no mirrors in the bedrooms

Very central quiet location,spacious flat and great place to stay to visit Edinburgh

Pros: The location is superb. Cons: Really can’t say we ‘disliked’ anything! it was a bit cold as we couldn’t close the bathroom window (too high) and the bedroom heater wasn’t on. there are two flights of stairs to climb but that’s ok. the couch is a bit worn but again that’s ok!

There was a bit of confusion on arrival as the flat hadn't been cleaned and the wrong set of keys left for us but a friend of the owner and the property management rectified all this and were really helpful.
