Hotel The Moorings (Sevenoaks, United Kingdom)

This spot is superb in its proximity to town centre attractions like the train station, shopping, restaurants and nightlife venues. An easy five minutes' stroll reaches nearly all favourite Sevenoaks destinations.

Most rooms provided functioning televisions, (usually) adequate bedding and were warm and quiet.

If breakfast is served at all, it is a standard continental. Some found it decent enough; others preferred to eat elsewhere.

Be sure you want to book and won't need to cancel for any reason before paying your deposit. There is a strict 'No Refunds' policy here. Additionally, please check your parking options ahead of time. The on-site parking is paid and often used for train station commuters as well as hotel guests - often leaving hotel guests without a spot.

Some may not like their rooms as they appear very different in person than the pictures featured on the website. Some noted a strange smell upon entering the hotel, and later found their units to be quite dirty with mouldy showers, stained basins, slow drains, shower temperatures that fluctuate from freezing to scalding, and sparse provisions for the in-room tea/coffee making. Best bet: ask to see your room before you pay.

You likely won't be dazzled by the customer service here. Very few have enjoyed it.
