There's not a lot you won't like about the location of this hotel. Not only is it a convenient choice for the airport, you'll find it's within a stone's throw of a good choice of restaurants and shops, as well as being within an easy driving distance of several of the area's most popular attractions.
positive:
Good quality suites
Guests are impressed by the standard of the suites at this hotel, often describing the accommodation as being spotlessly clean and spacious. The choice of included amenities is good and these are generally found to be well maintained.
positive:
Nice breakfast
Reviews of the SpringHill Suites Jacksonville Airport suggest that you'll enjoy the free breakfast. The quality of the food is good and there is sufficient variety available on the buffet to suit most tastes. Plus, the serving area is smart and the staff is attentive.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Insufficient towels
Guests who had a booked a suite for four or five people were sometimes surprised to find that only enough towels for three people were provided. This necessitated unexpected and fairly frustrating trips to the lobby to get more.
negative:
Some noise complaints
Although there doesn't appear to be a major noise problem at this hotel, several guests did find it noisier than they perhaps expected it to be. The main problem seems to be thin walls as the most frequent comments suggest that noise from adjacent rooms is the primary concern.
negative:
Infrequent complaints
Reviews of this hotel are generally favorable toward most aspects of the property and service though occasional complaints do crop up. Reported issues include slow draining water in the bathrooms, loud air-conditioning units, and a tardy shuttle service. To be fair, these issues affected only a small minority of guests.
