Positive Reviews
positive:
Relaxing by the sea.
The sea views from the balconies and terraces are just stunning. Those views continue even when eating breakfast on the terrace. For those wishing to dip in the ocean waves, it's just a short walk away and a trip to the marina is also within walking distance.
positive:
Service with a smile.
The staff at the resort, from reception to bar and restaurant, are welcoming, helpful, and courteous. The resort is British-owned and many customs and traditions will be familiar to British visitors. Service is completed with a smile and many personal touches. There is even a night porter to assist with those checking in late.
positive:
Good for families.
This resort is great for families. The location is safe and is within walking distance for food and shopping. Beach bathing is just steps away and a lifeguard is close by. There are plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas, and tables and chairs for long days by the sea.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No full menus.
The food options are narrow and limited. There are no lunch or dinner menus at the resort restaurant, so guests will have to find nearby restaurants. The breakfast is a continental selection that doesn't vary from day to day. The only other two options on the menu are local or British. Those wanting a culinary adventure will have to look elsewhere.
negative:
Some rooms nicer than others.
The sea view rooms are nicer than the interior rooms. The interior rooms are largely in need of refurbishment and the location on the back of the resort noisier. The sea views, though, come with a heftier price tag.
negative:
Out of season woes.
For those travelling out of season, be aware that the resort can get quiet. Common areas are deserted and many of the restaurants nearby are likely to be closed completely or have seasonal hours. You're just not as likely to receive the great service seasonal guests rave about.
