The elevator is a blessing when moving in luggage and to ease the burden further, they've supplied luggage carts. Tiled floors make for easy cleaning and many condos have super outlooks.

The beach is easily accessed and attractive with no seaweed or jellyfish. A nice occasional change from the fun-filled pool. The pool itself is well maintained and open and closed promptly at the advertised times.

These places are individually owned, so standards of updating, beds, etc; are bound to vary. The responsible and astute owner though, will have invested in his property in order to ensure your return visits. The location is glorious and the on-site admin staff couldn't be more helpful.

There's a charge for wrist bands and keys. Parking is costly too; difficult for the paying visitor to access, it's a 'vehicle' for the egos of parking staff. At night, though, giant mosquitoes are employed to extract more from you!

Condos vary in size and small bedrooms can be a problem. The same applies to the beds. Old and uncomfortable, they can make all the difference between a spectacularly good holiday and a miserable one. Bathrooms can be dated too. All are the responsibility of the owner.

Depending on your condo deal, expect traffic noise and few, if any, essentials such as soap, salt, pepper and sugar. Blackout blinds are ineffective and the balcony is so small that it should be described as a 'ledge'.
