Positive Reviews
positive:
Free shuttles take you around town.
While your accommodations are a little ways from central Marrakech, the hotel does provide a shuttle service into the city and to the airport. The best part about the shuttle—aside from worry free rides—is the price. Free. However, make sure you catch the last shuttle home, because after 8 pm, the cabs are harder to find.
positive:
Peace and quiet in the ‘burbs.
Sometimes you want to stay right in the midst of the city. Other times, the stress, noise and hassle of daily life can ruin your holiday. If you’re looking to escape the clamour, Hotel Riad Qodwa is the ideal spot. Unwind in the pool, enjoy the games room, catch a shuttle into town and pretend you never have to return to the daily grind.
positive:
The staff makes your stay stellar.
Each employee at the hotel takes pride in making sure your every need is attended to. Whether dining at the restaurant, coming home to fresh towels and linens or checking in or out, the hotel will see to your every desire.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A handful of lodging-based concerns.
In general, the hotel is a peaceful and charming place for a holiday break. However, some guests have noted a few issues with the rooms, including worn out beds and furniture, peeling paint on the walls, tired décor and tatty furnishings.
negative:
Not a drop of liquid courage.
If you’re looking for a hotel with a great selection of ales, wines and spirits, you’ll have to look elsewhere, because the Hotel Riad Qodwa is an alcohol-free property. Those seeking libations, though, can walk to one of the many supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
negative:
Limited Wi-Fi strength.
The Riad Qodwa will provide you with complimentary wireless Internet. Unfortunately, some boarders have had problems connecting to the web outside of the common areas. If you require a stronger signal, you may wish to request quarters near the front desk or surf from the lobby.
