positive:
Truly exceptional location
Guests absolutely loved the location of the hotel, just on the edge of downtown San Diego. They felt that the immediate neighbourhood held much of interest, and all the restaurants, bars and other amenities they could possibly need. And downtown was a very short trip should they want to head there.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A bit of a noisy environment
A large number of guests said the position of the hotel leant itself to noise from the outside. Guests said that both Pacific Avenue, on the one side, and railway tracks on the other meant that most rooms of the hotel had to contend with some degree of noise.
negative:
Defective air conditioning units
A surprising number of guests experienced problems with their air conditioning units, saying that they gave off an odd, and loud, mechanical sound.
negative:
Limited parking
Guests staying at very busy times mentioned that they could not get a parking bay at the hotel. While the bays are paid for and allocated, it seems that there are not enough bays to meet demand when the hotel is very busy.
