The rates are quite low at this property. If you are travelling on a shoestring budget, then it’s ideal. There are no bells and whistles, but you do get a decent bed to put your head down at an affordable rate.

This place is within walking distance of the university, and you’ll find that there are plenty of public transport stops nearby that connect you to the rest of the city. It’s also very close to the racecourse making it ideal for a weekend trip to the races.

For a place that is pretty much student accommodation, the staff do a great job at keeping everything in perfect condition. The rooms are spotless, and the public areas are well maintained. It’s not often that you find such clean rooms in a budget place.

Guests are a little annoyed at what they perceive to be misleading advertising. They feel that this is nothing more than a hostel and that it shouldn’t name itself as a hotel. There are very few amenities, and you need to share bathrooms.

Guests are not happy that they can barely fit their bags into the rooms at this place. It’s much like student accommodation in every way, and that includes the feeling of being crammed into a small space. Very poor value for money.

You have to pay for everything at this place where you get nothing for free. No air-con, TV, or even a fan. You might even have to ask for blankets for your bed which is not something you expect to have to do after paying so much for a room.
