Great transport links
If you're planning on continuing your journey the next day or exploring Lyon, this hotel is ideal for getting around. Just a ten-minute walk from Part Dieu's huge transport hub, you can get mainline railway connections or a tram or bus to the main sights of Lyon.
positive:
Great choice for shopping and eating out
Not only is Part Dieu excellent for going elsewhere, there is plenty to do if you stick around too. Guests find lots of restaurants and eating places to grab a bite nearby and there are many shops if you fancy a bit of retail therapy.
positive:
Decent value accommodation
Even if the name of the hotel may suggest otherwise, this hotel is just a two-star budget hotel. Guests are aware that you do get quite good value for such a central location. The rooms may be simple, but they are modern and most of all very clean.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Cramped bathroom cabins
Although you are close to the railway station, you may not wish to have the sensation that you are showering in the cabin of a train. Guests find the plastic shower cabins to be extremely tight and more like a bathroom you would expect to find on transportation rather than a hotel.
negative:
Two's company...
Guests booking an extra person in the room find that it is really too much of a squeeze. There simply isn't enough space to move around or store all your luggage.
negative:
Breakfast is poor
Guests aren't entirely satisfied with the buffet breakfast and having to pay extra for it. Whilst you can help yourself to as much as you like, that's the problem for many - there's not much that they like! The choice is poor and seems to consist of breads and patisseries with no meat or cheese options.
