The Views Have It
Regardless of the price you pay at the village, the views make the price well worth it. The views leave you mesmerized and can pretty much keep you occupied by their magic for most of your stay. Some villas have stunning views of the highest peaks in the village overlooking the immense Atlantic Ocean.

Competent And Fully Equipped
The staff is competent, courteous, and friendly and the villas are well-equipped. Rooms are spacious including the kitchen and bathroom. In fact, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook a decent meal. Microwave and electric oven, dishwasher, gas stove, toaster, coffee machine, key utensils, everything!

You Can Get Around...Kinda
This may be up for debate; however, you can get around if you take the bus, which comes right in front of the facility's entrance. It takes roughly fifteen-minutes or so to get to downtown Funchal. The bus doesn't seem to get too crowded either, so you are pretty much guaranteed a seat. However, if you really want to take-off and really see what's going on, renting a car is probably your best bet.
