The hotel puts you right in the heart of fun, with a lot of venues being within close walking distance. You're on one of the best streets for nightlife, shopping, and really absorbing the area's energy, and there's never a lack of things to do or see that are easy to get to.

Kitchen amenities, such as dishware and appliances are clean and bright, and the rest of the room also reflects that high standard of housekeeping. Everything is lovely at check-in, and remains that way, thanks to consistent upkeep and prompt attention to requests.

Although not luxury accommodations, Old Customs House Inn provides a decent room and pretty much what you need during a vacation. The pricing is well regarded and fair, particularly for the neighborhood, and for the cozy room and kitchen efficiencies.

Decor and overall comfortability are disappointing, as it's nothing that really gets your attention or seems contemporary and fresh. The beds are not that snuggly, so a restful sleep may be difficult. There's just not enough to perk up the atmosphere.

There's a lot of outside traffic, and that constant stream of sounds does come through to the rooms. Try to cool off without opening the windows, and also try to have some kind of white noise if you have trouble sleeping through late night partiers.

Depending on your size, it may be cramped using the bathroom and shower. Space is very tight, and thus uncomfortable for tall people or those who prefer a bit of elbow room.
