Hotel MT Plaza Brisas de Bávaro (Playa Bavaro, Dominican Republic)

Guests describe this hotel as a nice value hotel in the middle of the town. They felt that the price-performance ratio of this hotel is good.

The rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean, and the air conditioners kept the room cool. To top it all, the balcony overlooking the pool was very relaxing. The swimming pool in the courtyard was clean, the grounds are well-kept, and the landscaping is amazing.

Guests felt that the hotel is good for short trips and business meetings. It is positioned close to banks, gas station and entertainment as well. There are restaurants also at walking distance from the hotel. Most guests were of the opinion that, for the amenities offered, the hotel is priced well.

Guests found that rooms close to the parking were noisy and this disturbed their sleep. The noise from the restaurants and the disco bars is also disturbing at night. There are too many mosquitoes in the rooms. The hotel management should do something to address both the issues. Water pressure in the shower is low. It takes a long time for the warm water to reach the outlets. Basic toiletries like soap, shampoo and toothpaste are not supplied.

Some guests complained that the breakfast was overcooked, and there are very few options. The same fare is served every day.

There is no elevator in the hotel. Staff is not fluent in English. Thus guests had problems in communicating. The hotel entrance is not easily visible.
